One killed after missile falls on civilian car in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi authorities have not said if anyone is injured following allegations that a missile fell on a civilian vehicle in the Al Bahyah district. The assailant was killed and identified as a Palestinian national.

The UAE authorities highlighted that during operations where an information discipline is required, members of the public should source reports only from trustworthy official channels. Explicit warning has been issued to the public from spreading unverified accounts or speculations that mar response efforts and instills unnecessary fear.

Drone strike near DXB causes fire, flights affected

A drone incident affecting a fuel tank near Dubai International Airport (DXB) early Monday. Dubai Civil Defence teams promptly brought the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

Emirates had suspended all flights earlier but announced that it would be restoring some services from 10 am UAE time on a limited schedule. They said some flights had been cancelled and impacted passengers were being offered reaccommodation.

Other flights were diverted to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Travelers are advised to contact their airlines for updates.

The authorities, however, stated the situation is under control and will provide further updates through official channels.
