Dh500 fine for traffic obstruction
Article 98 establishes that traffic obstruction constitutes a violation which results in a Dh500 fine for offenders. The Abu Dhabi Police made it clear that drivers must avoid stopping their vehicles in the middle of the road under any circumstances. Drivers must move to the closest exit which protects both themselves and other road users while preventing accidents and traffic disruptions.
