I am 16 years old, and have a big function coming up in two months. The problem is, my face is really tanned as I play sports in the sun; also, my lips are dark. My complexion is generally fair. Can you suggest an easy and effective remedy?

Take 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Blend together. Wash your face thoroughly, and apply this mix on your face; you may leave overnight or for a couple of hours. Do this every day. Skin will brighten and the tan will gradually wear off, giving your skin a beautiful complexion.
I am a 27-year-old woman, and have a couple of problems. One, there is pigmentation on my inner and upper thighs' area. It has been like this since I can remember; and I would like to lighten them with natural remedies suggested by you. I am unable to wear a swimming costume - as it looks so bad! My second (but more recent) problem has been hair loss. I have always had thick, long hair, but since the past 2-3 months, there's been a drastic loss in my hair. I am now embarrassed to step out. I have started consuming a lot of green veggies and fruits, which has helped slightly; but my main concern is regrowth of new hair, and for my old hair to come back. So many doctors say that once hair falls, that's it! But I hope there is a way for new hair to grow, and for my head to basically become fuller. Kindly suggest remedies for my problems!

Pigmentation on the inner thighs needs a scrub thrice a week, or even everyday, till the skin clears. Take 2 tablespoons coconut milk (tinned or fresh), 1 teaspoon oats powder and 3 teaspoons rice powder, and make a mask; apply on the pigmented area. After 15 minutes, scrub the area and rinse off; apply coconut oil, and leave on overnight. Apply coconut oil after you shower as well; it is a lightening and moisturising agent. For the hair: soak 2 tablespoons fenugreek seeds overnight, and make a paste next day. Mix with aloe vera gel, and massage into scalp for 10 minutes. Follow with a wash, using a natural, organic shampoo. You may even leave in the hair treatment for a couple of hours or overnight if you are comfortable. Do this treatment thrice a week. Other than that, massage your scalp with fingertips everyday to activate circulation and improve quality of hair. Continue having the fruits and veggies daily; and keep body stress under control by practising meditation.
I am a 36-year-old housewife. Do you have remedies for dark circles, sensitive skin, hair loss and varicose veins?
- Saya
First, let's talk about varicose veins. Lie flat on your bed, on your back. Raise your legs at a right angle and massage the legs - starting from the feet, going towards the thigh area. Follow with patting apple cider vinegar on the same areas, to hydrate skin; this also helps in reducing varicose veins. Do this till you see an improvement. A mask made of papaya purée, a little honey and oats powder can be applied under the eye area and also the entire face; this will also improve both the sensitive skin and dark circles. You need to rinse off the mask before it dries, with tap water; always avoid extreme temperature showers. For hair loss, massage scalp with aloe vera gel 30 minutes before shampooing. Aloe vera cleanses and calms the scalp.
