Kate Winslet to be honoured with Munich Film Festival’s CineMerit Award
The renowned Oscar winner Kate Winslet is honored with the CineMerit Award for her contributions to film at the Munich International Film Festival. She will present her most recent movie, "Lee," in which she plays war correspondent Lee Miller. There will then be a talk and award show. The festival directors highlight the depth and significance of the film while expressing their excitement about Winslet's involvement. Winslet will be honored at the festival, along with Jessica Lange, another Oscar winner. Known for encouraging diversity and democracy, the event will be held from June 28 to July 7.
