Famous pianist Denis Kozhukhin blows Dubai crowds away with his performance
A piano recital by the renowned virtuoso Denis Kozhukhin capped off an enchanting evening of classical melodies at the April 28th VIP Classical Concert, which was organized by SAMIT Event Group as part of their prestigious VIP Classical concerts series. The 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels was a huge success, and Kozhukhin was named first prize winner after an extraordinary performance.
With the support of the Swiss Embassy in the UAE and Bahrain, as well as the Belgian Embassy in the UAE, the event took place in the elegant setting of Dubai Opera Studio. As a symbol of cultural solidarity and artistic brilliance, it brought people together in awe of the artist's extraordinary musical talent.
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the invitation to be a concert patron. Something unique about the Swiss Constitution is that, in Article 67, we acknowledge the greatness and the abilities of young people in the field of music and other artistic endeavors. As a result, the Swiss Constitution makes it clear that supporting musical artists is good for the populace. Swiss Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain Arthur Mattli expressed his immense joy and privilege at being able to lend his support to events such as this evening's concert.
As a result, we are discussing musical tradition; in fact, if you listen to the schedule for this evening, you will hear music spanning two centuries. Hence, music from the year 1838 throughout the present day. Also, it's great to be able to link the past with the present in this way. In January, we had the pleasure of listening to his first piano sonata, which was absolutely breathtaking. Mikhail Pletnev played it brilliantly. We are listening to Denis Kozhukhin's second work this evening. In my opinion, Alexey Shor's music is stunning because it combines elements of modern and contemporary rhythm and harmony with references to more traditional forms of harmony. What makes his music so appealing is like gazing at a modern painting that also has this classical element built in. I believe every marketplace brings together new artists, composers, and actors, and we also want to be a part of that. We are not just here for business, but to enjoy and nurture the arts as well.
Kozhukhin mesmerized the audience with his expert performance of the pieces. His performance was a technical triumph, but it also touched people emotionally by letting them lose themselves in the intricate beauty of the pieces.

You made an excellent point about our vision and future plans for this series. We are engaged in this because we have faith in the power of unity and the potential of classical music in the Middle East.
