The Dubai-based airline Emirates announced on Thursday that it is recruiting UAE residents exclusively for cabin crew positions.
Candidates must review the requirements and submit an online application form available on the Emirates website in order to be considered for the shortlist. Anyone residing or working in the UAE is eligible to apply for the position.
Following the announcement of record-breaking profits, Emirates Group has decided to reward its employees with a bonus equal to twenty weeks' salary.
Skills and background
Over a year of expertise in the hospitality and customer service industries
Positivity and an innate talent for serving others well in a team setting while interacting with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds
A high school diploma (Grade 12) is required at the very least.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken (a second language would be a plus)
Ability to reach emergency equipment on all types of aircraft requires a minimum height of 160 cm and a maximum height of 212 cm when standing on tiptoe.
No visible tattoos (even when covered with bandages or makeup) while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform.
To work as cabin crew for Emirates out of Dubai, you must be able to obtain an appropriate work visa from the United Arab Emirates.

Compensation and perks
An overseas meal allowance, an hourly rate for operated flights, and a fixed basic salary make up a person's pay.
This is an estimate:
Salary: 4,430 UAE dirhams per month
The average flying pay is Dh63.75 per hour, with a total average pay of Dh10,170 per month (~USD 2,770, EUR 2,710 or GBP 2,280) based on an average of 80-100 hours per month.
For the second grade (economic class), these are the ballpark figures. The following month, any meal allowances for night stops are added to the salary that is due. The business arranges for hotel rooms and airport transportation.
