Dubai's Global Village announces timings for Ramadan 2026

Dubai’s Global Village, which is celebrating its 30th season this year, has revealed timings of its operations for the holy month of Ramadan.

The venue will be open from 5pm until 1am Sunday-Wednesday, and 5pm until 2am Thursday -Saturday during the holy month.

The park will be transformed for the occasion with traditional themed decor, lights and lanterns, crescents air light vibrant photo booths, warm lighting throughout.

Global Village will also introduce Multaqa, a free-to-access tent-style seating area that aims to bring people closer together and help socialize. Based on the tradition of the majlis, the setting is decked out with festoon lighting, comfortable seating and a relaxed feel – all specifically earmarking a spot for people to relax, talk and spend quality time with one another at iftar, suhoor or beyond.

Situated in the space in front of the Main Stage, Multaqa Global Village encourages visitors to pick up their food from any of ​the destination's international kiosks, and hire traditional games from the venue’s own team – promising a chilled out and social Ramadan atmosphere for all ages.

Live entertainment

Global Village will present a selected selection of Ramadan-themed live performances on the Main Stage throughout the Holy Month.

Listen to soulful live sounds of the Orchestra, Oud, Nay, Harp and Violin while witnessing the traditional Tannoura show that has been chosen to reflect the mood and spiritual culture of this contemplative time.

Maitha Mohammed will host The Akher Kalam show from February 18 to March 18 at 11pm on the Main Stage.

Al Mandoos Live Game Show with Abdulla Esmaeel Visitors looking for more than just dinner and shopping, can be entertained by the second live game show in Arabic series -Al Mandoos which will run on the Main Stage at 9.30pm throughout three successive weekends from the first day of Ramadan Friday, February 20th providing a unique interactive experience for visiting families.

And to mark the Holy Month, the destination will also host a stunning drone show on Friday, 20th February at 9.30pm in which they’ll light up the night with a visually-rich performance.

World of flavours for iftar and suhoor

Visitors can indulge in an adventure from across the world through an extraordinary range of dining options such as 250 restaurants, the Restaurant Plaza, kiosks and the streets all wrapped up with performances on street stalls in the pavilions and at cafés. Breaking fast, suhoor or light bites in the evening – pick cuisine that fits your palate as Global Village has it all.

Ramadan shopping across cultures

At Global Village, there are 30 themed cultural pavilions with more than 90 cultures. Visitors can discover a range of themed products ranging from décor, attire, gifts and everyday household items to traditional sweets and food necessities - ensuring Eid preparations are convenient in the run up to the Holy Month.

An active way to explore Ramadan

The Ramadan Step Challenge is back, promoting healthy living in the spirit of celebration. Exclusively accessible through the Global Village mobile application, this challenge will allow visitors to measure distance traveled inside the park. Guests will rack up rewards as they reach 10,000 steps in a day.
