Dubai is revolutionizing its justice system with a new digital platform set to integrate remote investigations and court hearings. This groundbreaking initiative promises faster processing times and enhanced efficiency in delivering justice.

The innovative platform, slated for completion by 2026, represents a global first in its comprehensive approach to unifying investigation and litigation processes. Spearheaded by the Dubai Public Prosecution (DPP) in collaboration with tech solutions provider e& Enterprise, the project aims to establish a centralized hub accessible remotely to streamline legal proceedings.

At the heart of this endeavor is the seamless integration of various government entities, including the Dubai Courts, Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Through this integration, the platform will facilitate coordination among stakeholders, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key features of the platform include central storage and archiving capabilities, enabling the management of remote interviews and reservations across multiple locations such as police stations, prisons, courts, and DPP investigation rooms. This centralized system enhances communication channels among prosecutors, lawyers, translators, witnesses, and other involved parties while upholding stringent confidentiality and privacy standards.

Dr. Ali Humaid bin Khatam, senior advocate general and head of the Remote Investigation and Litigation System Project Team, highlighted the strategic partnerships and state-of-the-art technologies driving the project's development. The platform's focus on speed, accuracy, and integrity underscores its commitment to enhancing justice delivery in Dubai.

Moreover, the initiative aims to bolster operational resilience, particularly during crises, ensuring continuity in legal proceedings. Salvador Anglada, CEO of e& Enterprise, emphasized the company's dedication to leveraging innovative technology to enhance operational capabilities and service quality.

In summary, Dubai's pioneering digital platform represents a significant leap forward in modernizing its justice system. By integrating remote investigations and court hearings into a unified, accessible platform, the emirate aims to achieve greater efficiency, accessibility, and integrity in legal processes, setting a new standard for legal innovation worldwide.
