Air Chateau, a private aviation operator from Dubai, has purchased 10 electric flying cars from Crisalion Mobility, a European mobility provider, to use as air taxis in the UAE by 2030.

This marks the first business collaboration in the Middle East for a European company.

Crisalion's Integrity air taxi, in the process of being developed, has the capacity for five passengers and a pilot, servicing both urban and intercity passenger and cargo transport demands. The current battery technology allows it to travel at a speed of 180 kilometers per hour for a distance of 130 km.

"Integrity aircraft is scheduled to enter service in the year 2030." Starting now, our general manager at Crisalion Mobility, Manuel Heredia, stated that we will begin providing our initial units to various customers.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia are actively increasing their presence in air mobility by launching air taxis, as these innovative transportation systems will greatly decrease travel time. Presently, Joby and Archer Aviation are preparing to introduce their air vehicles in collaboration with their UAE partners in the coming year.

Dubai is an important area for this new form of transportation and will be one of the initial markets where we are already transporting passengers with our helicopters from UHNWI and VVIP individuals. Samir Mohamed, chairman of Air Chateau, expressed his gratitude and joy for the support of Dubai South and UAE stakeholders in sharing their vision with the company, something that would not have been achievable without them.

Following Dubai, Mohamed mentioned that they would consider regions in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Europe for potential growth opportunities.

The UAE company purchasing 10 Integrity Air taxis or eVTOLs at Farnborough International Airshow 2024 in the UK grows Crisalion's potential pre-order list to 125 aircraft in under a year.

The two companies will collaborate to introduce air taxis in key cities within the region such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The companies mentioned that the deal might also include collaborative ventures in Europe.

Manuel Heredia, general manager of Crisalion Mobility, stated that this collaboration not only allows Crisalion to access a key region strategically, but also contributes to Air Chateau's goal of offering sustainable air travel options to its customers.
Samir Mohamed, the head of Air Chateau, stated that the introduction of air taxis will help ease the pressure on traditional ground infrastructure, work in harmony with current transportation systems, decrease traffic jams, and contribute to a long-lasting future.
