I read your column every weekend and love it. I have a few problems that I'd love your help with. I've noticed a lot of hair fall at the front of my head and fear I will soon be bald. I can also see small wrinkles on my face. Lastly, the skin around my nails is constantly torn. I eagerly await your response to these issues.

Baldness around the frontal area of your forehead could be a hereditary problem, but if you'd still like to give natural remedies a go, mix some onion juice with a few drops of aloe vera gel. Apply this mix to the area and leave on overnight. Be patient, as it will take a few months to see results. Carrot juice mixed with honey and applied thrice a week on the lines and wrinkles of your face will help moisturise and smooth the skin. Rinse after 15 minutes with cold water. For the fingers with dry and torn skin, a regular massage with coconut oil is nourishing and will repair the same. Thank you for being a regular reader.

Is there a natural way to remove makeup? I'm trying to go au naturel and wish to avoid commercial products? Any advice?
 - Sarita
I love using coconut or sesame oil to take off my makeup. Afterwards, cleanse with a slice of cucumber or a damp rose water pad. Do this twice daily to get rid of dead cells and your skin will look healthy and well-toned.

My skin always feels very itchy. I spend a lot of time outdoors. Please tell me if there is a natural solution to this problem.

Applying yoghurt and honey in equal proportions to the face will help to reduce the itchiness and make skin soft and smooth again. Do this every day and don't forget to drink at least 10-12 glasses of water every day. Avoid hot water showers too.

I have a lip liner that is dark, so it looks like I have a thin moustache, even though I don't. Is there anything I can do about this?
- Nayana
Potato is an excellent skin lightener; simply rub a slice on the dark line every day and leave overnight. This will help solve the problem.

I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and whiteheads on my chin. Is there something to make them go away? Appreciate your speedy advice.
- Lola
Steam your face twice a week followed by a home recipe of oats and rice powder in equal parts added to equal proportions of honey and rose water. Apply a thick layer to your face; when dry, scrub with damp fingers, especially around the areas where you have blackheads and whiteheads. Finish with a cold-water rinse. Done twice a week, it will solve the problem. You have the option to get them professionally extracted if you wish as well, but I'd advise that this only be done from a well-reputed beauty clinic.
