Actor Akshay Kumar recently shared a personal anecdote during an appearance on cricketer Shikhar Dhawan's chat show. He reminisced about his time in Bangkok and how an incident there taught him the importance of humility. Kumar's father had recognized his lack of interest in academics and helped him move to Bangkok at a young age. Reflecting on his experience in the country, Kumar appreciated the cultural gesture of bowing down, which he found to be deeply rooted in Thai culture but borrowed from Indian tradition.

He recounted a particular incident involving a bike accident with an RTO officer while driving in Bangkok. Despite being at fault, Kumar learned the value of humility when he apologized to the officer and bowed down. The officer, instead of reacting negatively, helped Kumar and offered him advice on safe driving. This incident left a lasting impression on Kumar, teaching him the resilience gained through humility, which helps in navigating challenges.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan." Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film features an ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F.
