At least 25 members of the cabin crew have been let go by Air India Express following a major disruption in flight operations brought on by a widespread sick leave. Allegations of unprofessional behavior have been made by sources, citing senior crew members who turned off their phones prior to flight operations. In response to the disruption, CEO Aloke Singh announced plans to reduce flight operations while highlighting the commitment of the airline's majority of cabin crew. The Ministry of Civil Aviation requests a thorough report and urgent problem-solving to guarantee passenger satisfaction and compliance with rules.
