A Bengali food restaurant serves food that is healthy a restaurant has been mandated to shut down by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority for breaching hygiene rules and threatening public health safety.

Rupashi Bangla Restaurant LLC, on Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street in Abu Dhabi, has been issued an administrative warning in the form of a notice by inspectors. The Commercial License CN-1037388 Registered Restaurant of Abu Dhabi has contravened in a ghastly manner Law No. (2) of 2008 pertaining to the safety of food in the emirate and its subordinate laws as By-laws and Regulations.

As per the authority, ad hoc decision implementation followed a food safety control report carrying repeated patterns of high-risk violations made in regard to the restaurant. The eatery purportedly neglected to resolve these problems internally alongside additional issues which breached operational standards whilst consuming reasonable healthcare standards not set within civil restraints.

The violations need to be resolved first, the prerequisites set need to be fully complied to be operational, and all risks towards public health abused must be eliminated. The establishment shall not be restoratively operational until all required measures including set actionable criteria have been achieved.

Restaurants Mana Ruchulu and Wafi Hypermarket were the other two cited for lack of food business compliance last week.

ADAFSA took the decision to administratively close Mana Ruchulu Restaurant, situated in Abu Dhabi Industrial City, for grave breaches of food safety policies. Public health was put at risk because of the restaurant’s operations which required immediate intervention from the regulatory body. The agency has emphasized its focus on performing inspections and enforcing regulatory compliance as it pertains to health legislation.

Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspected breaches or issues pertaining to food safety by calling Abu Dhabi Government’s toll free number 800555. The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to upholding safe and high quality food provisions to all residents in the emirate. 

Wafi Hypermarket LLC within Musaffah Industrial City for persisting high-risk breaches under the food safety compliance policies and general violations of food law. 

An inspection done by the authorities uncovered multiple critical breaches such as pest infestations, displaying expired food items, and other unhygienic practices. The hypermarket was forced into closure as it refused to adjust its practices despite continuous public health supplied warnings.
