A mix of tomato pulp and oats powder can clear your skin
I am a 16-year-old girl and have had dry skin all my life. Recently, it has become oily; I have an outbreak of small pimples; there are also dark pimple marks on my chin and a few between my eyebrows. I have seen a number of remedies in your column but I don't know which one to use. I also have very sensitive skin. Please help!

Tomato pulp added to oats powder, and applied on your face will be the best for your skin. Do this every day. Rinse with cold water; avoid hot water on the face. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily and avoid hot, spicy and oily food.

1) I have got a lot of pimple marks on my face - especially on my nose.
2) I have dark circles around my eyes.
3) I want to know how I can make my hair soft and

Dot tea tree oil on the pimples and leave overnight; this will treat them immediately. For dark circles, applying damp tea bags can help lighten them. For you hair: before you shampoo, massage aloe vera gel on the scalp and hair; after 15 minutes, rinse off; follow with shampoo. Hair will be manageable. Aloe vera gel is also the best cleanser for your face. These treatments should be done every day for effective results.
I'm a 17-year-old girl who has been suffering from severe blackheads and whiteheads on my face. I have tried applying baking soda mixed with milk on them: it makes my face dry once rinsed. Please help me out! I have had this problem since the 8th grade.

Take 1 teaspoon oats powder and a quarter teaspoon baking soda; mix with yoghurt, and apply this mask on your face. When dry, scrub off gently. Do this thrice a week. This will help resolve your problem.
Do you have any suggestions for natural fragrances? Just curious. I'd really like to smell good, but am concerned about constantly spraying shop-bought fragrances. I'm open to any other solutions as well (natural creams etc).

Sandalwood is very soothing and has a pleasant fragrance. Rosewater is superb. Use any one of these.
I am 23 years old and want smooth hair. My hair is always limp and unmanageable even though it's only shoulder length. Please help.

Volume and smoothness can be achieved by applying thick aloe vera gel and rinsing off after 30 minutes. Aloe vera is also a great hair cleanser - so if you don't want to shampoo every day, you may use this hair remedy.
