UAE Space Mission Scrubbed New Date to be Announced Soon
UAE Space Mission 'Scrubbed' New Date to be Announced Soon

Two minutes prior to launch on Monday, SpaceX's Crew 6 flight to the International Space Station was aborted because of a reported "ground control anomaly."

The launch team uses the term "scrubbing" to cancel the launch and postpone lift off until further notice.

Unfavorable weather conditions including thunderstorms, chilly temperatures, or strong winds in the upper atmosphere are reasons to cancel a launch. Scrub or cancel the launch if there are technical or mechanical problems with the launch vehicle, spacecraft, payload, or ground-based systems.

A backup opportunity is available tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28, at 10.22 am (UAE time), and Thursday, March 2, at 9.34 am, according to a previous statement from Nasa (UAE time).
