  Convenience Elevated: City Check-In Service Debuts at Abu Dhabi's Yas Mall

A novel city check-in service has been inaugurated at Yas Mall on Yas Island, catering to travelers bound for Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

Introduced exclusively for Etihad Airways and Air Arabia passengers, the check-in facility is situated at the Fountains, an area boasting numerous dining options. Additionally, attractions like Ferrari World Yas Island and Clymb Yas Island are within close proximity.

Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Miral's Group CEO, expressed pride in the launch, emphasizing the initiative's role in establishing Yas Island as a global leisure and entertainment destination while bolstering Abu Dhabi's status as a premier tourism hub.

Yas Island, renowned for its award-winning theme parks such as Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros. World, along with diverse offerings like Yas Links and Yas Marina, stands as a testament to Abu Dhabi's allure as a tourist and aviation hotspot.

Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO at Abu Dhabi Airports, affirmed the commitment to enhancing Abu Dhabi's global standing, asserting that the innovative city check-in service aims to ensure a seamless and memorable travel experience for passengers.

The introduction of this service is the result of collaboration between Miral, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT – Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Airports, and OACIS Middle East. This collaboration follows the inauguration of Terminal A, a cutting-edge facility capable of accommodating 45 million passengers annually.

Titten Yohannan, Chairman and CEO of OACIS Middle East, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership's potential to enhance travel flexibility, safety, and peace of mind for passengers.

The city check-in desk is conveniently located on the ground floor at the Fountains, adjacent to Madcap Abu Dhabi. Operating daily from 10 am to 10 pm, the service incurs a nominal fee: Dh35 per adult (for passengers aged 12 and above), Dh25 per child (aged 12 and below), and Dh15 per infant (aged two and below).
