Will prices of sacrificial animals dip ahead of Eid Al Adha?
Cattle markets in Dubai and Sharjah are witnessing an increase in sacrificial animals ahead of Eid Al Adha. Imported from countries like Australia, India, Pakistan, and Somalia, goats, sheep, and cows are in demand. Although prices are slightly higher than usual, traders anticipate a dip as more batches arrive closer to the festival. The first batch is already available, with more expected in the coming weeks. Prices may decrease depending on supply and demand dynamics. Oxen are particularly sought after this season, with prices ranging from Dh4,000 to Dh8,000 for larger animals.
