New Year's Eve in Dubai: Hotels, apartments with view of fireworks cost over Dh200,000

With less than a month for New Year’s Eve (NYE), the focus is on hotel rooms, apartment and villas with best view for witnessing the world famous fire works of Dubai. For some accommodations, prices have already risen as high as Dh200,00 for a two-night stay.

NYE, Dubai holds dazzling fireworks displays all over the city. The Atlantis on the Palm and Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai to Global Village to Dubai Festival City, residents have a host of places to pick from when ushering in the New Year.

One ultra luxurious Golden Mile Palm Jumeirah apartment that sleeps six will set you back Dh210,633 — all fees included for December 30-Janaury 1. That equals to about Dh17,500 per person per day or more than Dh700 an hour. The property, which has an ocean view, comes with a rooftop swimming pool and a private pool.

Another of its signature six-bedroom Palm Villas is a little under Dh160,000 for two nights. Providing access to a private beach on Frond G, the accommodation features an outdoor pool and lift in all the rooms.

Burj Khalifa

DowntownNYC -For downtowners interested in getting the most breathtaking view of New Year's Eve on what is now the tallest building in the world, there are plans for that too. A three-bedroom at the Burj Royale that can accommodate eight people is available for a two-night stay for just below Dh165,000.

Burj Khalifa – a fireworks and laser show is also hosted here for NYE Burj Khalifa is one of the most coveted places in UAE where residents apart from tourists don’t mind shelling a few thousands dirhams booking their front row seat for those 20 minutes. For the night of December 31, some restaurants within and around the Dubai Mall are selling tables for as high as Dh12,000 per person.

And for those hunting a larger abode, a five-bedroom penthouse right across the Burj Khalifa is available at about Dh148,000

Hotel stays

In the Armani hotel, a 3-night minimum stay is needed on NYE. Many of their rooms are already booked. A few of the offers that remain include the six-person Armani Dubai Suite, which is listed at a rate of Dh45,000 per night. The suite, created by Giorgio Armani personally, is located on level 39 and overlooks the Arabian Gulf.

The Address Hotel Dubai Mall – Premiere suite with views of the Burj Khalifa and famous Dubai Fountain is being offered at Dh12,319 per night with a minimum stay of three nights. It accommodates four people.

At the Atlantis, the Royal hotel on Palm Jumeirah, guests will pay Dh31,841 for a night to stay in a Sky Pool villa on a sea view basis with five nights’ minimum stay. This would amount to Dh159,205 for a NYE stay. The room, which features a private infinity pool and views of the Arabian Sea, can sleep up to four people.
