Thirty-five volunteers from diverse backgrounds came together in Masfoot, Ajman, to restore rain-damaged hiking trails and plant saplings. When heavy rains hit last month, tourist spots and adventure destinations were left in disarray, posing risks to visitors. In response, volunteers joined forces to clear debris and restore nearly 300 meters of the trail, making it safe for visitors again. Organized by Emirates Nature-WWF, the event aimed to benefit both the environment and local farmers. Participants, armed with shovels and determination, worked tirelessly to rehabilitate the trail, showing appreciation to farmers by planting Arabian moringa saplings. The initiative not only revitalizes the environment but also provides additional income opportunities for farmers. Reflecting on the experience, volunteers expressed gratitude for the chance to make a meaningful impact and pledged to continue contributing to positive change in their community.
