UAE Weather Update: Dust and Temperature Shifts
As per the latest forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology, Abu Dhabi and Dubai can expect partly cloudy skies today, with convective clouds potentially causing rainfall in scattered areas across the country. Additionally, light to moderate winds are expected, which may become freshening at times over the sea, leading to blowing dust.
Temperature-wise, there will be a fluctuation throughout the day. Maximum temperatures could reach up to 27ºC in certain parts of the country, while in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, temperatures are expected to peak at around 23ºC. However, the mercury is anticipated to drop significantly by evening, with lows reaching 15ºC in both cities and 9ºC in mountainous regions.
Moreover, humidity levels are expected to increase during the night and Saturday morning, with a probability of mist formation in some internal areas. Humidity levels are forecasted to range from 40 to 80 percent in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Sea conditions are also expected to be affected, with very rough conditions expected at times in the morning, eventually becoming rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
