UAE Weather Alert: Dust Storm Warning Until 4 PM
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning of a dust storm lasting from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on Wednesday. This alert comes as fresh winds are expected to carry dust and sand, potentially reducing visibility to less than 2000 meters at times, especially in internal areas.
As part of precautionary measures, the NCM has raised a yellow alert specifically for the Nahil area. This alert advises the public to exercise caution during outdoor activities due to the anticipated weather conditions.
In response to the alert, the Abu Dhabi Police have urged drivers to remain vigilant, emphasizing the importance of caution during periods of low visibility caused by high winds and dust. They also remind individuals to prioritize safety by refraining from activities such as shooting videos or using mobile phones while driving.
This advisory aims to ensure the safety of residents and travelers in affected areas, urging everyone to stay informed about weather updates and adhere to safety guidelines provided by relevant authorities.
