 Fujairah Police General Headquarters announces temporary road closures for the fifth stage of the UAE Tour cycling race. Motorists urged to use alternate routes during closures.

Fujairah Police General Headquarters has issued a traffic advisory regarding temporary road closures in Fujairah for the upcoming fifth stage of the UAE Tour cycling race. The closures are scheduled to take place on Friday, affecting specific intersections along the route.

According to the authority, traffic will be temporarily suspended from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm as competitors pass through the designated areas. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consider using alternate routes to avoid disruptions during the closures.

The affected roads and closure timings are as follows:

- Closure of the road from Address Hotel (Dibba) to the Ras Dibba area will occur from 11:50 am to 12:00 pm.
- The road from Ras Dibba towards the Al Muhallab area will be closed from 12:00 pm to 12:15 pm.
- Closure of Al Muhallab Street in the direction of Saih Dibba will take place from 12:15 pm to 12:25 pm.
- Saih Dibba Street towards the Muharraqa area will be closed from 12:25 pm to 12:45 pm.
- Closure of Al Muharraqa Street in the direction of Al Tawain Roundabout will be from 12:45 pm to 1:00 pm.

The fifth stage of the UAE Tour, known as the Al Aqah Stage, is a sprint stage covering a distance of 182 kilometers from Al Aqah to Umm Al Quwain. Cyclists participating in the race will traverse various terrains and landscapes as they compete in this challenging stage.

Fujairah Police General Headquarters emphasizes the importance of adhering to the temporary road closures for the safety of both participants and motorists. They encourage cooperation from the public and advise motorists to seek alternative routes to minimize inconvenience during the specified closure times.
