A new dedicated bus lane on First Al Khail Street in Al Quoz imposes a Dh600 fine on violators. Unlike others, it lacks red markings but has broken yellow lines for turning motorists.

The addition of this lane aims to enhance public transport reliability and reduce travel time by up to 60%. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to extend dedicated bus and taxi lanes across six key streets, expecting a 30% increase in public transport usage. This move aligns with Dubai's ongoing efforts to improve road safety and ease traffic congestion.
