The intensity of the weather is expected to peak from Friday midnight until Saturday midnight, affecting different areas in succession.

The onset of adverse weather is predicted to begin in the Al Dhafra and Al Ain regions before spreading to Abu Dhabi and its surrounding areas. Following this, unstable weather conditions will extend to Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Residents have been advised to stay indoors and venture out only if absolutely necessary, as the inclement weather could lead to hazardous road conditions and reduced visibility due to strong winds.

Authorities have announced the closure of roads leading to valleys and mountains throughout the weekend. This precautionary measure aims to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Additionally, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has warned of fines and penalties for individuals who endanger themselves or others by disregarding safety guidelines. Fines of up to Dh1,000 may be imposed for gathering near flooded areas, while entering flooded valleys could result in a Dh2,000 fine, along with other penalties.

Residents are urged to take necessary precautions to safeguard themselves, their property, and their vehicles from potential hailstorms. It is essential to follow instructions issued by the authorities and avoid obstructing emergency services during crises and rainy weather.
