Rafid gets new number for reporting minor traffic accidents
Rafid Automotive Solutions Company has announced a new contact number, 80092, for reporting minor traffic accidents in Sharjah. This change, made in collaboration with the General Command of Sharjah Police, is intended to improve the efficiency of traffic incident responses and enhance road safety across the emirate.
The updated contact number aims to streamline the process of reporting minor traffic accidents. By providing a dedicated hotline, Rafid can offer quicker assistance via phone calls and expedite related services. When an accident is reported, Rafid conducts inspections at the scene to determine the appropriate legal documentation required.
Rafid’s services extend beyond accident reporting. The company also offers emergency fuel delivery, tire replacement, and battery replacement services, ensuring comprehensive roadside assistance for motorists.
The new number was officially launched during a ceremony attended by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh, Chief Officer of Rafid, along with various officers and officials from both organizations. This event underscored the joint commitment to improving public services and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of road users.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi highlighted that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts by Sharjah Police and Rafid to provide exceptional services swiftly and effectively. Enhancing traffic safety and service quality remains a top priority, aimed at achieving greater customer happiness and satisfaction.
Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh echoed these sentiments, emphasizing Rafid’s dedication to constant improvement. “We are continually working on enhancing our readiness, upgrading our equipment, and being available to receive feedback and calls from the public around the clock,” he said.
Rafid's Contact and Control Center operates 24/7, ensuring that assistance is always available. Motorists can reach Rafid by calling 80092 or by using the Rafid app, which is accessible on all smartphone platforms.
