NMC Walkathon: Uniting for Community Health
Over 4,000 individuals came together in Mohammed Bin Zayed City to participate in the NMC Walkathon, a vibrant event promoting health and well-being. Organized by NMC Royal Hospital and the Mohammed Bin Zayed City Municipal Community Center, the Walkathon underscored the community's collective effort in fostering a healthier lifestyle.
Commencing at 7:00 am, the Walkathon witnessed the active involvement of representatives from Abu Dhabi Police and the Municipality of Mohammad Bin Zayed City. Led by certified fitness instructors, the event commenced with a dynamic warm-up session, setting the tone for an invigorating walk around the picturesque environs of NMC Royal Hospital - Mohammed Bin Zayed City. Participants, spanning families, fitness enthusiasts, and community leaders, reveled in the refreshing atmosphere, buoyed by the support of volunteers from the Authority of Social Contribution - Ma'an, NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi; NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City; NMC ProVita; and CosmeSurge.
Dr. Deep Makkar, General Manager of NMC Royal Hospital - Mohammed Bin Zayed City, expressed his elation at the overwhelming response and community engagement.
