New British school to open soon; registrations start on June 1

A new British school is set to open in Dubai South, with registrations starting from June 1, 2024. The Gems Founders School will cater to students from FS1 to Year 8 initially, with plans to expand to accommodate over 2,500 students up to Year 13. The school's construction will be completed in phases, beginning with the Early Years and primary schools. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious classrooms, STEAM labs, food tech and ICT labs, art and music rooms, and dedicated spaces for language and Islamic studies. Sporting amenities include a competition-standard swimming pool, football pitch, multi-purpose sports halls, and outdoor green spaces. The academic year is scheduled to commence in August this year.
