Indian, Emirati $1 million Duty Free draw winners remain uncontactable
In the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw, held at Dubai International Airport's Concourse A, two individuals, an Emirati and an Indian, emerged as new millionaires, while others drove away with luxury vehicles.
Mohammed Al Shehi, an Emirati national, clinched the coveted $1 million prize in Millennium Millionaire Series 454 with ticket number 2637, purchased online on March 10. Al Shehi joins the league of Emirati millionaires, marking the 14th local winner since the promotion's inception in 1999. Similarly, Mohammad Jamal Ilmi, an Indian national residing in Dubai, secured his millionaire status in Series 453 with ticket number 0121, bought on February 27. He becomes the 226th Indian to claim the million-dollar prize, showcasing the significant participation of Indian nationals in the promotion.
Despite their newfound wealth, both winners remain unreachable, awaiting the surprise of their lives upon discovery of their windfall.
In addition to the millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise segment awarded luxury cars and motorbikes to fortunate participants. Nadeem Hassoun, a Belarusian residing in Dubai, won a BMW 740i M Sport, becoming the first from Belarus to clinch a car prize since the promotion's inception. Ayoob Ali Ahmad Albastaki, an Emirati based in Dubai, drove off with a Mercedes Benz S500, expressing his delight and gratitude for the unexpected win after participating in the promotion for over two decades.
Other winners include Sharafudheen Madambillath, an Indian resident in the UAE, who secured a BMW R18 Octane motorbike, and Cecille Anne Holmans, a Filipino residing in Dubai, who claimed a BMW S 1000 RR motorbike. Holmans, a first-time participant, attributed her win to beginner's luck, expressing gratitude for the unexpected fortune bestowed upon her.
