One resident, returning from Taraweeh prayers, recounted the moment of dread when they initially mistook the building on fire for their own. "I saw thick smoke rising from the top floors of my neighboring building. First, I thought it was the tower I resided in. When I reached the building, I saw many people were out on the streets," they recalled.

Emergency response teams swiftly descended on the scene, with reports indicating their arrival around 9:45 PM to tackle the blaze and restore order to the area. As a precautionary measure, residents from nearby blocks were also evacuated, ensuring their safety in the face of the unfolding emergency.

Shahid, a grocer in the area, recounted his experience of only becoming aware of the fire when the street outside his shop became inundated with people seeking safety. "I was not aware of the situation and was engrossed in work. At around 10 PM, the entire street was packed with people, and that is when I learned about the fire," he shared.

The prompt response of emergency services and the coordinated efforts of firefighting teams helped contain the situation, ensuring the safety of residents and preventing further damage to the property.
