Emirates announces 19 extra flights ahead of Eid Al Fitr travel rush
As Eid Al Fitr approaches, Emirates is gearing up to accommodate the surge in travel demand with 19 extra flights across the region. With more than 150,000 passengers expected to fly during Eid, the airline is expanding its schedules to cater to popular destinations like Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman.
During the Eid travel rush, Emirates will add seven additional flights to Jeddah from April 7 to 13, providing passengers with more options to explore destinations such as London, the Maldives, or reunite with family and friends in Colombo and Karachi. In Kuwait, six extra flights will be operated between April 7 and 20 to meet the significant travel demand, offering travelers access to popular leisure destinations like Dubai, Bangkok, and Osaka, as well as facilitating travel to Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar.
Recognizing the increased demand for travel to and from Bahrain, Emirates will expand its flight schedule to the kingdom with 22 weekly flights starting May 2. Additionally, the airline will add four extra flights to Amman and two to Beirut to accommodate families coming together to celebrate after the holy month.
Passengers onboard Emirates' Middle Eastern flights departing from Dubai will be treated to a specially crafted Eid menu, featuring a variety of savory and sweet dishes. From chicken biryani and lamb kibbeh labanieh to machbous and vanilla and rose mousse cake, travelers can enjoy a taste of traditional Eid delicacies while flying.
