Dubai-based Emirates Airlines is embarking on an extensive recruitment initiative with plans to hire 5,000 cabin crew members in 2024. This strategic expansion aligns with the airline's anticipation of receiving A350s from mid-year and Boeing 777-Xs starting in 2025. The recruitment drive is particularly focused on individuals entering or recently entering the workforce, seeking fresh graduates with internships, part-time jobs, or approximately one year of hospitality or customer service experience.
Eligibility Criteria for Emirates Cabin Crew:
To be considered for Emirates cabin crew positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are advantageous)
- A natural team player with a vibrant personality
- Minimum height of 160cm, able to reach 212cm high
- Ability to meet UAE's employment visa requirements
- At least one year of hospitality or customer service experience
- Minimum high school (Grade 12) education
- No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform
Recruitment Drive Details:
Emirates' recruitment team is organizing open days and assessments across more than 460 cities spanning six continents. In 2023, the airline hired an impressive 8,000 cabin crew members, conducting recruitment events in 353 cities as part of its post-pandemic service expansion. By August 2023, the cabin crew count surpassed 20,000, reaching 21,500 members.
