The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers has declared a five-day break for public sector employees during Eid Al Fitr, starting April 9, 2024. Most employees will have three days off, with Friday and Saturday being the official weekend days, providing a long weekend. Employees will resume work on April 14.

Saudi Arabia has also announced a four-day holiday for Eid Al Fitr, beginning from April 8. Residents will enjoy six consecutive days off, returning to work on April 14.

Meanwhile, UAE residents could potentially have up to nine days off in April for Eid celebrations. Depending on the moon sighting, Eid Al Fitr will be observed either on April 9 or April 10. With Ramadan lasting 30 days, the break will extend from April 8 to Shawwal 3. If Ramadan ends in 29 days, the holiday will be from April 8 to Shawwal 2. Residents will return to work on April 15.
