Yousef Hussein, a 22-year-old Palestinian-Canadian living in Dubai, recently undertook a remarkable journey, covering over 450 kilometers on foot from Dubai to the UAE-Saudi border. His purpose was to perform Umrah and witness Ronaldo's football match in Riyadh.

Yousef's journey began on February 1, with the support of his brother and friend who accompanied him as drivers for safety. His daily routine consisted of jogging and running for two hours, covering 40 to 50 kilometers each day. Despite facing exhaustion and challenges on the road, Yousef's mental resilience kept him focused on his goal.

Reflecting on the journey, Yousef emphasized the strength he found in pushing through the pain and loneliness, ultimately feeling a sense of accomplishment upon reaching the border. After performing Umrah, he fulfilled his dream of watching Ronaldo's game in Riyadh with his family.

Yousef, who has been a sprinter and runner throughout his life, sees this journey as a fulfillment of his childhood dream. He now plans to embark on more cross-country runs, targeting destinations like Oman or Qatar in the future.
