Dh5 million donation announced for fishermen in Ajman
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has announced a generous donation of Dh5 million to the fishermen affiliated with the Ajman Fishermen’s Association. The financial aid, timed to coincide with Eid Al Adha, aims to encourage citizens to pursue the fishing profession by addressing their needs and removing the obstacles they face.
This donation is seen as a beacon of hope, providing much-needed support to ensure a decent life for fishermen and their families. Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid Al Ghamlasi, Head of the Office of the Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen’s Association, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Ruler of Ajman and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. He expressed deep gratitude for their continuous support and patronage of the fishing community, which plays a vital role in preserving and developing fish wealth in the emirate.
The Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen’s Association and all fishermen in Ajman expressed their joy and appreciation for the timely donation. Al Ghamlasi highlighted that this support reflects the leadership’s empathy and understanding of the community's needs, aligning with the association’s goals to enhance and promote the fishing profession. He emphasized that the support from the leadership serves to uphold and instill the heritage of fishing in future generations.
