Burj Khalifa lights up for Olympic Day

 Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa dazzled on Sunday evening with the Olympic logo and the vibrant colors representing the five Olympic rings, marking the celebration of Olympic Day. This event commemorates the founding of the International Olympic Committee by Baron Pierre de Coubertin on June 23, 1894.

Ahmed bin Mohammed, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, expressed the UAE's participation in this global celebration. He highlighted the theme of this year's Olympic Day, 'Let's Move and Celebrate', emphasizing the UAE's commitment to promoting sporting excellence and supporting the Olympic movement.

Less than two weeks prior, on June 12, the 828-meter tall skyscraper had adorned the Philippine flag in honor of the 126th Philippine Independence Day.
