In an interview with People, Bryce expressed her deep passion for directing, emphasizing its significance in her life alongside acting. "My dad never intentionally shut off acting, he just started directing full time and he still even talks about it. He's like, 'Oh, I'd love to act,' " shares Bryce about her father, Ron Howard, an Oscar-winning director and Happy Days alum. "But he makes zero time for it. For me, I hope it's something where I'm lucky enough to do both in some capacity."

Bryce has actively pursued knowledge and inspiration by shadowing her father on set, particularly during the filming of 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' in 2018. Despite initial reservations, Ron Howard was convinced by Bryce's pitch, leveraging her experience working with special effects companies and developing technologies on projects like the Jurassic World franchise.

"My pitch was like, 'Really? I know everyone. Please. I just finished working with everyone for the last six months,'" she shared. "I was like, 'The crew is not going to be uncomfortable with me. I promise. I'll be invisible.'"

Her inquisitive nature and curiosity about various aspects of filmmaking contribute to her growth as a director. Bryce describes herself as "very nosy" on set, delving into details such as the cost of animatronics and the reasons behind using specific special effects. This hands-on approach has built her knowledge base, and her active participation has been well-received: "[On Jurassic] everyone was really open with me, and they weren't like, 'Oh, just sit over there little girl.'"

Her inclusive experience continued with her latest project, 'Argylle,' a spy action comedy. Working with director Matthew Vaughn, Bryce found a supportive and open environment. She appreciates the opportunity to learn and be part of the filmmaking process, stating, "It's been really wonderful to lean more into gaining experience than finding that perfect one thing. And I love to work."
