On December 31, the Big Ticket live draw awarded Dh100,000 to ten fortunate winners, one of whom stood out for a unique reason. Kamaleddine Badghaish from Jeddah had his helper pick the winning numbers, promising to share the prize if they hit the jackpot. In an unexpected turn of events, they did, and true to his word, Kamaleddine plans to split the winnings with his helper.
Kamaleddine, a 57-year-old retired banker residing in Jeddah, has been an avid participant in the Big Ticket for the past four years. The news of his significant win reached him while he was vacationing with his family in Italy. Expressing his enthusiasm, Kamaleddine said, "I am a big fan of Big Ticket."
The remarkable aspect of Kamaleddine's win lies in the fact that he involved his helper in selecting the numbers, making a promise that if he won, he would share half of the prize with her. As luck would have it, the chosen numbers turned out to be the winning combination.
Grateful for his good fortune, Kamaleddine stated, "I will give her half of the prize, and this money will help her and her family." The win not only brought joy to Kamaleddine but also became an opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of his helper and her family.
Among the other winners was Palestinian national Alaa Azen, a sales delivery manager residing in Al Ain. Having occasionally purchased Big Ticket tickets for the past three years, Alaa expressed his happiness about the win, saying, "I am very happy about my win. Everyone has a dream, and Big Ticket is the tool to achieve that dream; thank you, Big Ticket."
When asked about his plans for the prize money, Alaa shared, "I will use the money to pay the rent for my two sons, who are studying Cybersecurity in Malaysia, and we will visit them."
Another winner, Marwan Afif, a Lebanese singer residing in Abu Dhabi, shared his experience with Big Ticket. After trying several times and experiencing frustration, he decided to take a break from participating for a year. However, during a trip to Morocco, he decided to try again and purchased a ticket, receiving another as an offer. The free ticket turned out to be the lucky one.
