Many predators, wild animals relocated from residential areas after reports of sighting
In recent years, Fujairah has seen an increase in reports of predators and wild animals in residential areas. Responding to citizen and resident concerns, authorities have taken proactive measures to relocate these animals safely. The specialized team in charge has responded to numerous reports, quarantining or transferring animals to laboratories or zoological parks. With the use of tracking chips, researchers monitor the animals after their release back into the wild. Notably, the region boasts a diverse array of wildlife, with recorded sightings of various mammals, birds, and reptiles. The Fujairah Environment Authority maintains a dedicated hotline for reporting sightings of wild or dangerous animals, ensuring the safety of both humans and wildlife alike.
