A 31-year-old mother in Dubai, Maryam Mohd Kalim Siddiqui, and her premature baby were both saved in a near-death C-section after Maryam suffered a severe cardiac arrest due to hypertension. This was her second pregnancy, and she had a history of hypertension from her previous childbirth. Rushed to International Modern Hospital, Maryam's heart stopped for over 30 minutes, prompting doctors to perform a perimortem C-section to save both lives.
