UAE weather: Red, yellow alerts issued for fog; conditions may turn humid by night
The National Centre of Meteorology's weather bulletin predicts a fair to partly cloudy day on Monday for UAE residents.
Forecast updates showed that islands along with some coastal and northern areas may experience occasional cloud cover particularly through the night.
Weather conditions are expected to become humid during nighttime into Tuesday morning which may lead to fog or mist development in certain internal and coastal locations.
The meteorological agency announced both red and yellow fog warnings for the early morning period. Take a look at the following map:
Northwesterly winds ranging from light to moderate strength and occasionally intensifying will affect sea conditions by Tuesday morning. Wind speeds will range between 10 km/hour to 25 km/hour with gusts reaching up to 40 km/hour.
The ocean conditions will vary from slight to moderate but will become rough during late night hours in the Arabian Gulf while remaining slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
