UAE weather: Chance of rainfall today; temperatures to dip
The document has been prepared in accordance with specific guidelines provided. The National Centre of Meteorology, on the other hand, anticipates partly cloudy to cloudy skies today, with temperatures anticipated to be lower.
There will be areas of convective cloud, particularly in the eastern and southern areas where rainfall may occur. Winds will generally be light to moderate but may occasionally turn fresh or strong especially in the proximity of clouds. Those strong winds may carry dust and sand and hence lower the horizontal visibility.
In both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, the conditions at sea will be slight to moderate. Temperature, however, will differ significantly from place to place. In highlands, the temperature can decrease to about 20 degrees while in the internal regions, it can increase to a maximum of 42 degrees.
Humidity is also expected to be high along the coasts with moisture content of 90% while the mountains will have very low humidity content of 15%.
By and large, in the course of the day, varieties of weather conditions will be experienced with gradual changes in the skies, temperature changes and precipitation over some areas. Caution is also advised to the residents and visitors against the blowing dust and limited visibility especially on the road.
The weather in the mountains and along coastlines will also include the possibility of changes in temperature and humidity throughout the day.
