UAE tourist permit for Indians: Cost, eligibility, e-visa, visa-on-arrival

Types of visit visa, cost
The UAE provides several tourist visa types which feature different validity periods. These are:
Type 1: The short-term tourist visa allows single entry and remains valid for 30 days from entry without extension possibilities at a cost of Dh250.
Type 2: Visitors can use the multiple entry short-term tourist visa for 30 days from their date of entry but this visa cannot be extended and it requires a payment of Dh690.
Type 3: The long-term tourist visa that allows one entry lasts for 90 days starting from the entry date and cannot be extended and costs Dh600.
Type 4: The fee for a multiple entry long-term tourist visa valid for 90 days from entry without extension stands at Dh1,740.
Requirements
Indian applicants need their passport to remain valid for six months and their bank statement to show enough funds which should be at least Dh3,000. Valid hotel bookings must accompany the required bank statement documentation.
E-visa, visa-on-arrival
Indian citizens have the option to apply online for a visa-on-arrival to visit the UAE.
This, however, is subject to some criteria. The applicant's passport needs to remain valid for no less than six months and they need to possess either a valid visa, a residency permit, or a green card from certain specified countries/regions.

ICP charges Dh100 for issuing 14-day entry visas to Indian nationals and their family members who hold regular passports and possess valid visas, residency permits or green cards from listed countries. It costs Dh250 to extend a visa for an additional two weeks. Indian nationals along with their family members who hold valid documents must pay Dh250 to obtain a 60-day visa.
