The Ministry's latest initiative, the Labour Accommodation System, serves as the nation's first centralized platform for registering workers' accommodation facilities. By encouraging companies with 50 or more employees to provide approved accommodation for their workforce and register essential data through the Ministry's website, the initiative aims to elevate the quality of life for workers, reinforcing the UAE's reputation as a premier global destination for living, working, and investing.
According to the MoHRE, the surge in compliance among companies is attributed to various factors, including the streamlined process facilitated by the online Labour Accommodation System, periodic inspection campaigns, and stringent enforcement measures against non-compliant entities.
