UAE President to visit Russia on October 21 for 16th Brics summit
 
                                            
As reported by WAM, the latest news is that the President of the UAE Sheikh Bin Zayed will travel to Russia on 21st of October. The President will pay an official visit and in the circumstances of this visit, he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin where the two are expected to talk about the ways of deepening the bilateral relations of Russia and the UAE.
Beyond this audience with President Putin, Sheikh Mohamed will also attend the 16th session of the BRICS summit which is to be hosted in Kazan between October 22 and 24.
The members of BRICS are Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates and their goals include increasing economic collaboration as well as responding to various global challenges.
This visit also shows the determination of the UAE to promote international relations and working on various matters emphasizing its status as a strong and impactful nation in international politics and trade.
The consequences of these meetings do pique the interest and they could have wider implications in regard to UAE-Russia relations, as well as the initiatives of the BRICS.
