UAE President designates 28 February as Emirati Day for Education

As per the instructions of President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, February 28 has been declared an official Emerati Day for Education.

It is conducted with the details in order to improve and sustain the concern for education in the region, within the year under consideration.

Accordingly, such initiative demonstrates the dedication of the country to creating an educated society, inspiring the population to achieve excellence in education as well as in other fields which would eventually lead to the socio-economic development of the nation.

This day recognizes the contribution of education on the development of the UAE and the growth of education in society and the emergence of the cultural development of the nation.

His Highness stressed that from its inception of the UAE, education has inherently been deemed as vital in development and every development plan must have education at the center.

It was remarked that the people are aware that education is the engine of the future prosperity of the culture of the nation.
