UAE: Police return missing 7-year-old boy to parents in less than an hour
Police reported that a seven-year-old Asian missing boy was found on a main road in Ajman and reunited with his parents within an hour.
According to Advocate Muhammad Rashid Al Matroushi who leads the Manama Police Centre an Arab man found the boy alone in Manama and took him to the police station.
The authorities started searching for the boy's family since no missing child reports existed at that time. The police kept the child safe during their search by feeding him lunch as well as supplying his other needs.
The authorities located and reached out to his parents within minutes before returning the boy to them after an hour. The parents expressed gratitude to the police for locating their son while vowing to monitor him more carefully to prevent future incidents.
The Ajman Police urged residents to monitor their children constantly and ensure that doors remain locked.
