With even more Indian nationals visiting the UAE, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has good news for them that they will easily be able to avail visas on arrival as per the announcement made on Thursday.


Now, Indians having tourist visas of the UK and EU nations may obtain visa on arrival. This was the case previously when only those who hold the residence or tourist visa of the US or the residents of the UK and European Union countries.


This is subject to the condition that the visa and passport of the applicant is within a period of six months or more from the date of application.


Further, the authority stated that for these Indian eligible travelers a 60 Day visa will be avail for Dh250.


Moreover, the authority also informed about a new fee schedule for ensuring the services Earlier February on Monday’s News said Increasing Work Visa Fees in UAE – General, Medical Visa Hijab and others has been released. Indian nationals applying for a 14-day entry visa along with their family members holding valid visas or residencies or green cards of countries US, EU members or the UK.


The voila fee for extending this visa validity for a further 14 days is 250 Dhs. Further, this 60-day visa can be issued against the payment of Dhs 250.

According to ICP’s director-general, in this instance, the expansion of the visa-on-arrival option for certain Indian citizens is consistent with the strategic long-term partnership between the UAE and India.


This demonstrates the leadership’s determination to deepen economic and trade relations to bring in investors, entrepreneurs and talents and to position the UAE as a major tourism and economy center in the world.
