UAE: No extension of visa amnesty after October 31
The administration advocates for leaving for those who received exit permits before the deadline because some have not left the country. Recently, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) stated that there will be no extension of UAE visa amnesty programme which will finish on October 31.
The ICP added there will be deportations and limitation of violations completions up to including a no entry list. The Amnesty program for illegal foreigners in the UAE will be ending on November 1, and only three weeks are left.
There will be forced raids in all the houses and in the offices of companies where violators stay to apprehend them. These strategies will carry on to apprehend offenders and implement action against them through sanctions or deportation, putting their names in a list foregoing their entrance to the country again.
Maj Gen Sultan Al Nuaimi, ICP director-general, said: “This (two-month visa amnesty programme which started on September 1) is the golden and last chance for people to rectify all the issues.”
He also added: There would be no softening of policy, nor indeed any judicial action. Head of the ICP, Maj Gen Sultan Al Nuaimi provided different information:
“An overwhelming number of cases were received, and many people had their cases taken care of at that time.”
The authorities are keeping track of the violators' locations, and they are threatening to fine and deport them from the country regardless of their status in the UAE, until payment of the fines is made.
They urged the GId which dished out exit permits in a previous statement to enhance east those who have most recently received the permit but have not rudimentary abandoned the country.
