UAE: New smart system to catch traffic violators in Ajman from Oct 1
Starting October 1, Ajman Police will start monitoring for offences. These offenses include, not wearing seatbelts and use of mobile phones while driving. The police will use a smart monitoring system to catch these violations.
Aiming to boost road safety, this high-tech tool can spot and fine drivers who break the rules. It helps make sure everyone follows traffic laws more closely. This lowers the chances of problems caused by drivers not paying attention or not wearing seat belts.
If you get caught using your phone or allowing other distractions while driving, the law says you’ll be slapped with a Dh400 fine.
Plus, they’ll stick four black points on your license.
The law clearly states that everyone in a car, no matter if you're in the front or back, needs to be wearing a seat. If this rule is ignored, the driver will be fined another Dh400 and handed another four black points.
This guideline underlines everyone's safety in a car. It's a reminder to drivers about sticking to seat belt laws.
Ajman Police prompts all to follow driving rules and laws too.
