UAE: New salary card announced for workers in Ras Al Khaimah

A new workers salary card was launched in Ras Al Khaimah, easing poorer people’s money control, it was reported Friday. 

With C3Pay payroll card, emirate employees don’t need to set up a bank account to receive salaries. 

The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (Rakez) has entered into an MOU with international payments solutions provider EdenRed UAE to carry out the new project. 

Employees will be able to get their wages on the card and use it anywhere: at the ATM, at shops, online, and without the necessity of having a bank account, the ministers added. 

"We are launching the program to provide financing solutions that will help you in getting the salaries faster especially for employees who are unable to access banks, said Rami Jallad, group CEO of Rakez. 

Edenred UAE CEO Wael Fakhrani added: "Payroll cards are a stable financial device, which helps all employees to carry out their daily activities seamlessly.
